Maya L. Trimner
Maya started out with a natural ability to draw anything put in front of her since she first learned to talk. She went on to major in Visual Art in college for a short time which greatly inspired and fine-tuned her use of color through the years. Maya developed her artistic style in cosmetics by studying the work of the late Kevyn Aucoin and his techniques and perfecting them on countless faces for the past thirteen years. She has worked for such companies as Chanel, Sephora and M.A.C. and has worked with several photographers in the industry including Michael Scott Jones (NY) and Philip Wong (NY). In Fall of 2007, she scored an internship as a sketch artist for Venexiana 2007 Spring line and assisted prior to Bryant Park's Fashion Week.
Maya is now focusing on fine art portraiture, landscapes, still-life and fantasy illustration with surrealistic elements. She has exhibited her work since 2011 and her work is in private collections in several countries, including the USA, Germany, Spain and Jamaica.
